CompassCare is seeking professional caregivers to provide exceptional home care and concierge services for older adults. Our caregivers build a partnership in care that allows our clients to live an active and engaged lifestyle.

  • Full-time, part-time, live-in, daytime hourly and overnight hourly shifts available.
  • Manhattan; Westchester County, NY; Fairfield County, CT; and surrounding areas
  • Pay starts at $20/hour for hourly shifts and $300/day for live-in shift. Overtime and holiday pay applies.

Our client care is provided by a full care team, to ensure that we are delighting the client every time. Our focus is on providing top level care for our clients while also providing full 24/7 support for our caregivers.

What We Seek In Our Caregivers:

Our caregivers are empathetic, kind, and compassionate. They are passionate about caring for older adults, and about helping our clients stay active and engaged. Our caregivers are curious and are always eager to learn more about our clients and about how to provide top level care. We seek candidates who are:

  • Passionate about working with older adults
  • Kind and optimistic
  • Curious
  • Empathetic
  • Dependable and professional
  • Well-spoken, with strong communication skills and excellent client service skills
  • Experienced as a caregiver (minimum one year)
  • HHA, CNA, or LPN Certification preferred; must be willing to be certified within 6 months of hire date
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID

What Our Caregivers Do:

The care that we provide starts with a customized care plan that has been created to meet the specific needs of the client. Our caregivers build a strong relationship with the client to learn how to go above and beyond, providing care well beyond the care plan that has been provided.

Our caregivers work in partnership with the CompassCare Client Team and Office Staff to provide the best possible care for each client.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide concierge level care, including enrichment activities, outings, and more
  • Provide companionship and engagement
  • Provide light housekeeping & meal preparation
  • Follow a detailed care plan
  • Complete reporting to be shared with the Care Team
  • Assist with personal care
  • Provide transportation and accompany client to appointments
